2015 NC Forestry Field Tour
Harnett County, NC
October 6, 2015

About the tour

This meeting is specially designed for active private forest landowners, the potential new forestland investor, or the Next-Generation landowner who recently has or will inherit land. The tour will include discussions about timber management techniques, timber markets and their impacts on management, and ongoing tree improvement in loblolly pine. This meeting will be a good opportunity to learn from experts in the field of forestry, network with other growers, and to transfer technology to the next generation of forest owners. Terms will be defined for the newer landowners, and advanced questions will be answered for the more seasoned land manager.
